Canadian artists i feel have to work twice as hard to get half as far as our counterparts south of the boarder, or anyplace else in the world for that matter, but Canadian artists have it Ruff... I feel Canadian artists do it for the love Period. They FEEL their art. They nurse their talent. South of the border the avenues are so much easier to reach. im not gonna lie and say that all Canadian artits' work is great, but NOT ALL ARTISTS WORK IS GOOD!.. you cant just say that $hit about Cdns... see im getting mad now... We need to stop comparing artists here to anyone else. You need to look at them for what they are. Why is a singer from Toronto not good cuz she doesnt sound like Beyonce. Even though, if that girl came out with blond hair like "UH OH UH OH UH OH", youd have something to say about her trying hard. If thats the only way she can get your ass 2 listen then thats her!...Why is an MC from Brampton soft cuz he doesnt sound like what your used to? They are performing THEIR music, not music on behalf of all Cdn artists... urgh!... Nobody compared M.I.A to nobody else, but Ro Dolla, Solitaire, Ghetto Concept, Red1, The Biggest Blackest, Wickedest Lincoln... they get put up against everyone else all the time... Why!...
