About me: My name is Jerry Tillis and this is the testimony of my life..... Jan 10,2005 my life turned upside down.I always wanted to be like my dad, but on this day my point of view about being like my dad changed.
On Jan 10,2005 my dad left my mom for another woman.I was heart broken, but i had the feeling that was going to happen.He would never come home or call or answer his phone.I had to make a choice,go back to this lil city called acres homes where the drugs are bad,well everything out there is just bad period.
My second choice was to be homeless,until my mom found a place to stay in waller.Well I asked my Aunt if I could stay with her,and she told me i could.Two months went by and the friday before spring break,she told me I couldn't stay there anymore.Well me ans some friends were going to camp out far in the back of my pasture.I told my friend Tony what happen.I told him that I was going to stay in the tent until my mom found a place.Two and a half months went by that i stayed in the tent. I didn't tell anyone that i stayed in the tent.It was a long and hot two months.And the part that hurt the most was my dad didn't even call me the whole two months I stayed therre.
I started to lift weights,because i wanted revenge for what he did to a perfect home,and when i needed him the most he wasn't there.
I soon picked up some bad habbit's like drinkin(hard liquor) just to get him off my mind.
Then my Grandmother found out that I was stayin in the tent she was heart broken that her grandson is stayin in a tent out there by himself. She told me i couldn't stay there anymore.Well my sorry father asked my little sister and brother if they could stay in there old house,that was going to get picked up by the mobile home co..My sister and brother told them that they wouldn't stay there unless i did.So i stayed in that hole in the wall place for two months.One month with a/c and the next month they took the a/c.It was very hot it got so bad that ants came inside the house.For three weeks i stayed in my truck because there was ants all over my bed.I got saved a week before halloween and the Lord has been great to me and blessed me with alot and to meet alot of great people.
So this is me a lil broken a lil fixed saved but not perfect but nobody is right? If there's anything else u wana know just ask,and thanx for reading. peace!!
