Daif records started out as a small group of trance addicted inderviduals set in the pesuit of creating a record label that would not only reflect the best trance talent in this new musical generation, but would also act to furthering itself in every degree. As a benchmark, they chose to aim as high as the sky hoping to compete within the first year against some of the best labels already on the market including armada, mondo and anjunabeats.
We launched in November 2006, and right from the get-go we boldly shouted from the rooftops that we would create a trance record label proving YOU, and only you with cutting edge trance, that claws at the one thing locked in the deepest and darkest desires of any trance fanatics hearts, PASSION!
Working every day from that moment on to make sure we kept to this vigal, the label grew from having 4 artists (Joakim Daif, Aimee B, Mikael Sjoberg & Solar Project) to the arrival in early 2007 of new artists like TrancePulse Inc, Perpetual, Oxid Project & Dan-J. Then later we witnessed the arrival of other artists including Tragida & The Lidstroem Brothers.
As the label now grows bigger and bigger, the label has started to branch out into new areas including live radio shows streight from the artist's dj persona's and now with help from our promotions manager (and excelent dj) Hodel, club gigs accross the world (check the events section), and over the next few weeks the distribution of physical media including cd's!!!! We are just about to enter into Daif Records second year, and we are so proud to be stood here now with a proper home, a suadren of mega talented artists, and too boot a community that gives a crap about the beautiful genre we call TRANCE!!!
Here at Daif Records, we believe that our motto is important because it lets people know what we are about before they hear any of our artists music, but also makes us human, as thats what we are! :) So here it is:
