I already sorta hooked up with the wilderness society office in cairns as I was in coordinating the Queensland actions against ANZ with the pulp mill. Was figuring I'd probably end up operating out of that office when I move up but I would like to check out other groups involved in more direct action as well. Have you got any links for me to do with activism in FNQ and also a good site or two outlining the history of the sitch so I can get my head around it?
I expect to see you in Tas too when the call comes to enact another Franklin Dam scenario. Early next year is our best guess atm.

Yes we spent a night at Koala's and then I spent a night of dodgy camping up near trib. I was sorry you weren't about either but hopefully next year you can show me some of your magic places. The energy is so amazing there I can only imagine how many and what secrets that forest holds. I'm in love with the place. So much so I'm pretty sure we'll be moving up at the end of 09/10 summer.
