Daisuke Abe(Guitarist/composer), born in Tokyo, Japan in 1978. He started playing Guitar at age 15. At first, his interest was in playing rock music however as he got to know its beauty of musical improvisation, his interest was soon moved into Jazz music.
At the age of 18, he began studying music formally at Jazz course of Senzoku Gakuen college in Yokohama, Japan and graduated at the head of the class 1999.
In 1999, He received a "world scholarship" to Berklee college of music and came to the U.S. In 2001, he also received "Louis Bellson Award scholarship" for his impressive and exceptional performance skills. During his stay in Boston, he studied and played with great Jazz musicians such as Hal crook, Tiger Okoshi, George Gazone , Mick Goodrick and many others.
Following graduation, Daisuke moved to New York City to pursue a career as a Guitarist and composer. Since then Daisuke has been performing his unique compositions with his band in Jazz clubs in NY area include Bluenote NY and Cleopatra's Needle.
In 2005, Daisuke's debut record have released worldwide from Nagel-Heyer record Nagel-Heyer record label.
The record was produced by Rodny Green(Eric Reed, Greg Osby) and the CD contains 9 of Daisuke's original compositions.

Rodny Green, Walter Smith, Aaron Parks, Matt Brewer, Gretchen Parlato, Jon Cowherd and Mark Turner.
