Daisy Chapman's songs weigh heavy with a haunting beauty and romantic intensity. With a voice that ranges from a whisper to a "herculean howl" and alone on stage with a piano and loop station, this is a live set not to be missed. 2010 album The Green Eyed explores the notion of jealousy - a vice none can avoid and few crave. With the addition of a string quartet, percussion and a host of Daisy's vocal harmonies, this album boasts an uplifting and heart warming timbre.

Daisy's music is well travelled. Germany has welcomed her across the channel countless times, not to mention a brief Californian tour where Daisy graced the corners of coffee houses up and down the Highway 1. Daisy has recorded vocals with John Parish, Crippled Black Phoenix, The John E. Vistic Experience, as well as supported the likes of Howe Gelb and Karima Francis on some of their UK shows. In 2010, Daisy was awarded an International Independent Music Award in the Cover Song category for her beautiful rendition of Rihanna's 'Umbrella'. Closer to home, Daisy performs at festivals such as Glastonbury and 2000Trees, and has also joined lengthy tours as the pianist in Crippled Black Phoenix.

Dubbed as 'Amazingly successful' in a German issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Daisy Chapman's solo career has gone from strength to strength. Combining effortless vocals with Nymanesque piano and lyrics not for the faint hearted, Chapman's set could be seen as a sombre affair. However these delicate intricacies and melancholia teamed with her powerhouse pop and classic songwriting offers the listener a spell-binding show, not to be missed.
