Daisy May
(May Erlewine)
Born into a family of musicians, May Erlewine has been playing music all her life. She learned to sing and play piano at an early age, and her acoustic guitar is seldom far from her side. Erlewine, who was home schooled, paid her singer-songwriter dues in her late teens with several years of hitchhiking back and forth across the U.S., even riding freight trains, and always writing songs and playing her music.
Now with four CD’s to her name, May works a variety of venues coast to coast, focusing on the Midwest and her home state of Michigan. Her inspired songs and powerful clear voice have a sweetness that delights audiences. Daisy May is often joined by Michigan singer-songwriter Seth Bernard, whose excellent guitar work and soaring harmonies are seamlessly woven into their song-stories.

Looking forward to Harvest! Hope you are enjoying your summer May. I'm really enjoying the new music. Thanks again for the uplifting words and melodies. Namaste
Daisy, as always, it was a huge pleasure watching you and Seth play at Bliss this past weekend. I don't think it is possible to see any other performance with so much joy put into it, watching the two of you perform always brightens my day. Even if there isn't a cloud in the sky! : D
Sadly 5th Avenue Billiards is closed indefintely but I'm starting a new acoustic open mic at Royal Kubo in Clawson this Monday July 20th and every Monday evening after. Please come out and play if you're a musician or just listen to the many talented musicians that come out to perform for you! Great atmosphere there at Kubo and even better Filipino food! YUMMY! Royal Kubo is located at 27 east 14 mile rd. clawson, MI 48017 (near the corner of Livernois Road and 14 mile, parking is in back). Starts at 8 pm - ??
