About me: Daisy Sewing (www.daisysewing.com) is a site dedicated to handmade, one-of-a-kind (or at most few-of-a-kind) items. Currently, Daisy offers handbags, shoulder bags, messenger bags, scarves, skirts, and sock monkeys.
Daisy is the love child of five committed people:
Julie, Designer - Julie is the creative force behind many of the accessories and sock monkeys. She is a self-proclaimed fabric whore and spends much of her time dreaming up new patterns and fabric combinations.
Jedire, Designer - Jedire is the official Albanian princess of Daisy. She divides her time between her family's Coney and designing funky and functional bags.
Joan, Designer - Joan is our cosmopolitan girl. She is doing grad school in New York and yet still finds time to create beautiful jewelry and scarves for Daisy.
Lauren, Designer - Lauren is our youngest designer. She's a full-time student and filled with creative inspiration. Be sure to check out her gorgeous hand-coiled wire jewelry.
Dave, Web Master - Dave is the man behind the website. He works full-time as a Systems Administrator at Wayne State University, is a professional poker player (look out WSOP 2008!), and still has time to make Daisy beautiful and easy to navigate.
Our goal at Daisy Sewing is to create fun and useful accessories (and more!). We hope to use myspace as a medium to bring you pictures of the latest and greatest at Daisy and a peek behind the scenes in a Daisy Sewing blog.
