    .. .. .. .. ..Shedrick Williams (drummer/producer), who is a New York native began playing the drums at the tender age of 2. He studied his gift and grew on a set of 5 cardboard boxes until his parents purchased his first drum set. In as early as elementary school people would recognize Shedrick for his capabilities to hold a beat, and by the second grade he had already taught himself how to read drum charts. As his life progressed Shedrick got deeper involved in music, by the age of 10 he had been offered a position to play with the funk band "Kool and The Gang" but due to his young age and parents religious beliefs the oppourtunity was passed up. Still determined Shedrick kept on playing for school events and churches. In the year of 2000 Shedrick moved to Raleigh, NC. Since living in NC, his playing and production has evolved making him a very sought after figure. Shedrick has played for/with Donald Lawrence, Michelle Williams, Kurt Carr, J Moss, Derinda Clark, T.I., Glenn Jones, Raheem DeVaughn, and many others. When at home he focuses on "LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST" Currently Shedrick is MD (Music Director) for the band "Mercury Blue" (videos below!!!). He can be found also at Mt. Calvery Holiness Church in Wake Forest. He is also working/traveling with a slew of others such as; Russ Corvey out of Washington DC, Soul Psychedelique out of Raleigh, NC, Blaza-Blaze out of Durham, NC, Adrian Duke out of Hillsborough, NC, and many others...
