BIO:
Singer / Songwriter / Performer: Kota has been in the studio recording her own original songs since she was 9. Dakota has played live in venues all over Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Orange County, California.
Kota's latest original, "Get Out", is a powerful track that is pending to get on the soundtrack of the upcoming blockbuster New Moon (sequel to mega-blockbuster Twilight).
Her songs, “Strong Little Soldier,” and "F-Word" are a collaboration with Danielle Brisebois, co-writer and producer of Natasha Bedingfield’s mega-hit “Unwritten” and newest single “Pocketful of Sunshine", and Wayne Wilkins, producer and writer of mega-hits for Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, David Archuleta, etc.
She's known for her song, "Mistake", that won First Place in the 2007 American Idol Underground Song competition.
