About me:
Dj Daksinamurti is Till K. from Marburg/ Germany where he studies cultural anthropology.The reason to become a dj was to spread his love for psychedelic music. He was quite unhappy with the musical situation which contained of mostly monotonous and emotionless music so he decided to kick up some dust himself and share his passion for the music which he first listened to in Goa (India) in the 90s.
So far Daksi represented Organicrec and Mindfunk Music, and joined Shiva Space Technology in 2005.
He was also involved in the Indian label Rudrakshrecords where he was Co-Manager / A & R.
2007 Till joined the South African label Nexus Media which is owned Shift and Slug.
Daksi is also involved in the Project the Marburg Virus which organise parties in his hometown Marburg and is freelancing for numerous labels and organisations and organisers within the scene.
Daksi..s recipe for the dance floor is a journey through powerful nighttime / twilight psychedelic trance with strong groove, powerful melodies,psychedelic atmospheric soundscapes, and full of surprises.
Daksi he also enjoys playing well produced, soulful and intelligent morning/daytime sound with a touch of oldschool. And more intense night music for the right hours.

His first compilation V/A "Spiritually Spaced ouT" was released December 2006 on Shiva Space Technology
with artists such as:
Scorb vs Tenzing , Shiva Joerg, Slug, Mechanix, Hydraglyph, Menog, O.I.L, Concept, Wizack Twizack (Khopat rmx) and Sick Addicktion (Tryambaka & D Maniac)...
In June 2007 compilation V/A "Deep Fried" compiled with dj Shivamoon on "Rudrakshrecords" with artists such as :
Abomination, Neuromotor, Audialize, Concept, Shift, Phyx, Tryambaka ,I-dna and Delysid...
and the double benefit Cd V/A Ahimsa (Dacru& Rudraksh Records)
His next compilation "Tokoloshe Tales" compiled together with DJ Gata Freak is expected to come end of 2009/beginning of 2010 on one of Daksis all time favourite label TIMECODE Records. and more surprises are about to come in 2010
