Bio
DALLAS is a new band that consists of a group of seasoned musicians who know exactly what they want to do... and that is Play the music that they love and get the crowd CRUNK! Call them country, rock, southern rock… they don’t care! They are a group of "backwoods boys" from Alabama to Georgia. They play what they love, and what they love is anything that sounds good! Singer Justin Kelley says "I love George Strait, Hank Jr., but I also love the Black Crowes, Rage Against the Machine. If it feels good, sounds good then were gonna play it!" DALLAS was formed in the early spring of 2010 and they played their first shows in May of 2010. Having the ability to record their own music in their own studio, they released a few cuts of their own that garnered them a lot of show opportunities in a short time. In July of 2010, they were able to share the stage with veteran country rockers Little Texas. From there, it just started exploding! DALLAS has shared the stage with many local and national acts and has played across the whole state of Georgia and is gearing up for a string of shows in Alabama. No matter where they play, they are turning heads. “A good reason for this is the live show,” says guitarist Chris Hembree. "It doesn’t matter if are playing to a hometown sold out crowd, or if are at a small bar 2 hours from home with 12 people in it! We play music for ourselves first and we have fun doing it. Were gonna be movin’, jumpin’, laughin’. It doesn’t matter if there are three people in the room, I want them movin’ and clappin’!" DALLAS has also been aided by frequent radio airplay from local Georgia stations for several of their original songs. Look for DALLAS in a town near you, and we promise it will be a night to remember! -
