About me: Hey Dallas Divers!! We'd like to introduce you to your one stop site for dive night life in the Dallas Metroplex... coming soon. Dallas Dive Bars is not just any ole' directory of local bars and reviews. Our mission is to keep our independently owned bars thriving - while creating a community where you can meet new people and find your new favorite hangout.
We're working hard to get the site fully functional, but in order to do so we need YOUR help!
In the mean time click the link below and suggest your favorite dives, or if that requires a sober mind, feel free to leave comments here on myspace or the blog. We look forward to hearing what our fellow divers have to say and appreciate your help in making our online community a sucessfull, usefull, and entertaining resource for dive bar owners and patrons.
Who I'd like to meet: Japanese Karaoke Superstars, Chain smokin fools, Any nerd that competes in dart tournaments, Beer belly bubbas, pool sharks, Freaks, Leather Jacket-motorcycle riders, Girls who aren’t afraid to squat, and the drunkest, most fun people in the metroplex!!!
You should join us for our meet & greet with Kinky Friedman this Saturday 7/18/09 at Tobacco Box located at 8809 Lakeview Pkwy #122 in Rowlett, TX from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Food, drinks and a lot of great Texans having a good time.
A big thank you to all our fans, family and friends that attended the events in the DFW, TEXAS area on June 19th and 20th! Considering it was BFA's first time in TEXAS, the results were amazing!
By popular demand, Back From Ashes will be coming back to Texas in September!
"It was almost a crowd of first time BFA attendees at the venue…it was a crowd of people that heard through promotion the quality of music and felt the passion in the message the MMP and Yvonne were spreading. The ability to reach groups of new crowds and peak interest enough to make them come to a show they have never seen because MMP/Yvonne’s ability to communicate the talent of this group and the promise of a great show. In this industry that statement alone is worth millions! Everyone knows that that is the single most difficult thing for a band to do is to be seen and heard as the talent they are with the over saturated competition that is out there. Yet we all sit here making nothing and LOVING what we do. Because bands like Back From Ashes deserve it."
