Originally formed to write a song for a Christmas tribute album, the Dallas Horse Thieves have become a part time band that includes some very talented musicians. They have been known to play with the likes of The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, Willy T, and Chris Doud. Venues include such haunts as the Cow Track, the acoustic festival in Escalon, and the Starn Ranch.
DHT is currently recording an album of sad songs and trucker's anthems. The Album is due out in February of 09. Some of the songs are previewed here in rough form.
