ANITA DALY and DALY COMMUNICATIONS
Anita Daly, a key player in niche specific marketing, is the founder and president of Daly Communications. The company thrives in its ability to pinpoint audiences and create campaigns geared specifically to the consumer utilizing press, radio and Internet outlets.
With over 20 years in music Anita has been a part of various groundbreaking trends in the industry. In the late 80’s she served as V.P. of Sales for the New Music Seminar which at the time was the largest music industry convention and became the model for South by South West (SXSW) and CMJ.
In 1996 Anita co-founded Intercultural Niche Strategies (INS). INS helped to crossover world music artists in America such as Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, The Chieftains, Phil Coulter, The Saw Doctors, James Galway, The Irish Tenors, renowned sitar player Ravi Shankar, King Sunny Ade, Selif Keita, and many more.
Always looking to the future Anita launched Daly Communications in 2003. For 5 years the company has been able to offer specialized mainstream marketing, conducting regional media campaigns for acts on tour. They also offer lifestyle marketing, reaching out to consumers where they work and play. Just a few months into 2008 and the company is hard at work on The Pogues’ third U.S. tour in conjunction with LiveNation. A collection of never before released recordings handpicked by band member Philip Chevron is set to follow. Daly Communications is also excited to work with EMI and the creator of Celtic Woman on a new project titled The High Kings. “Four top class performers (Martin Furey, Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden) create this unique ensemble, re-energizing the great Irish ballads and introducing exciting new songs from Ireland”.
In 2007 Daly Communications partnered with publishing company Cosmic Trigger under the umbrella of The Arc Music Group. Cosmic Trigger has welcomed the talents of Finbar Furey, Martin Furey, The Elders, BibleCode Sundays, and FRED to the client roster.
