a lot of life has passed before these eyes. A lot of work has been wrung through these hands. A lot of burdens have been carried by this back and these legs of mine. Through this strong heart a few billion beats have passed, none stronger than those for the life I am living now. I've seen mankind at it's highest and lowest points. I now think that the trials of the past were merely stepping stones to the bigger and better things, like the unbelievable love I've found. No longer settling for second and third bests, I've found and married my "best!" She rocks my socks off, her beauty, strength, and character surpassed my wildest expectations. I ask myself how I got so lucky, and you know what...
I fuckin' deserve this life! I have everything I want and more. I ask for a hug, and I get the kind that make me forget my day-to-day troubles. I ask for a kiss and I get the kind that make me forget to put my pants on before I head off to work (Now that'd be a sight, wouldn't it?) I get love, like whoa...I can't even wrap words around it. It's refreshing to know that when I stumble, someone's right there for me...Me. I'm not stuck wondering where my support is going to be coming from, because I'm immersed in it. Friends and family that beat all; a career that I excell in and contribute greatly to; and a lover for life I know has my best interest at heart 100 percent, as I do hers. Self actualization...realized. No amount of "wealth," material possesions, perceived status could ever match the feeling of waking up with her in my arms. I didn't finally get it right, I hit the fuckin Bill Gates/Donald Trump lotto of life. Life isn't about what you've got, who thinks you're cool, it's about the inner peace of knowing that you and the life God intended you to have will supercede everything else that you know. My Mom and Dad had that, and through their wisdom and teachings, I was smart enough to grab ahold of that shooting star. I'm still holding on and it's all mine.Blowing the whistle on fucks. Speaking for those who do not have a voice and screaming on their behalf, such that they will be heard. Saying "never again" and meaning it. Ruling out bad scenarios by only making good choices. Doing what's best for me, and not for you. If helping you won't hurt me, maybe I will. The pendulum swings both ways, and it has been sharpened this time. To not get cut, you'd better get out of it's way.

It'd be like a men's version of "The View," except it'd be cool, because it'd be "accurately depicting the state of: politics, art, pop culture, sports, and religion."
