Damian McGinty is a 16 year old singer with Celtic Thunder, the youngest of a group of five Irish male voices. He lives in County Derry in Northern Ireland with his family. Damian's voice is strong, deep and powerful, in strong contrast with a very young face.
Damian won his first singing competition at the age of six. After winning a singing competition in 2006, Damian's public profile was significantly boosted and he made appearances at various concerts: the Millennium Forum for Derry City football team, and for the Red Cross.

Hi Damian; Glad to see your back. How did finals go at school? Send us a blog and update, please. Well, part of the fall concert scheduled is posted, waiting for the rest. I have tickets for the Seattle and Houston shows, now all Sharon needs to do is confirm Spokane(where I live), maybe you could put in a good word. Damian, I want you to know that you don't know me but you have a large impact on my life and have had one for 2 years now. Its kinda strange because from watching interviews and reading about you I feel like I know you. I really want to meet you and I turely am hoping to get to meet you sometime soon. You should come and do a North American tour sometime. I would like to learn Gaelic Irish. I am already bilingual (French and English) I would mind being trilingual. Thank you so much for being you. Damian, You are a truly wonderful singer. Your voice is already amazing at 16 years old. It's crazy!! For my 16 birthday I'm hoping to see Celtic Thunder live on November 3, my birthday is actually in december, but the 3 of Nov. is the only time i can see it. You are all amazing, and have inspired me. I am a singer and dancer. I am also going to be on Miss Teen USA, so wish me luck!!! lol! Thank you for all of your music.
