What up, yo? Is that American enough for you?

The name is Damian the Duck (AKA Dami, for short). I was brought into Noizefront.net last year to be their official mascot. It's a pretty cool gig and I love the ladies that do all the hard work. My job is to flatter the musicians and win them over with my charm and good looks. Every musician that makes their way to our pages is photographed with moi. I was brought into the scene when the ladies were touring the Tower of London and bumped into me. Unable to resist me, we chatted over tea and they mentioned the webzine. The ladies are able to get to the gigs and the musicians, but were searching for a mascot as an ice breaker. Well, it seems a perfect fit, really. How could I say no?

But I digress.

My other duty with Noizefront includes a monthly article in which I get to bitch about pretty much anything I want. It's fantastic! I've been doing this for a few months and have become quite adapted to my surroundings, however, we noticed there was one drawback. There seemed to be no forum for comments or questions to me and, as I am an attention whore, I wanted to make sure that all of my adoring fans would have such an outlet. So, here I am, with a MySpace. I will be posting all of my rants here on a monthly basis and you, the people, will have your chance to share your voices back. I can't promise I'll respond to everyone and I'm sure I will disagree with most of you, but it should make for an interesting ride at least, right yeh?

ROCKWORKZ	May 16 2007 5:48 PM Cheers to everyone that came down to BarMonsta to see us play there for the last time recently. It was a rocking night and a good way to end our residency there. ROCKWORKZ will be back soon at our new venue, the Purple Turtle, Crowndale Rd, Camden, just next to Mornington Crescent tube station. We'll be there every Sunday afternoon from July 8th, (time to be confirmed, but probably from 2pm till 6), featuring Men & Gods singer Marc Eden, who Slash called "one of the greatest Rock n' Roll singers I have ever heard", and Henry Rundell from Voodoo Six, who's been described as "the best voice to come out of the British music scene in the last 10 years", plus various members of Voodoo Six, Men & Gods, Crowning Glory, Cavalar, Zodiac Mindwarp and guests... Playing Classic Rock from Audioslave and Alice in Chains to Zeppelin, via Purple, Sabbath, AC/DC, etc etc... And it's FREE! Not just a Rock Covers Band...

We're on from 6pm till half 7ish, playing classics from Led Zep, AC/DC, Purple, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains etc. We're then followed by the brilliant MEN & GODS featuring ROCKWORKZ's Marc Eden and Minz, the wonderful SAINT JUDE (who're a bit like a female-fronted BLACK CROWES), and then the glamtastic KING LIZARD.
