Damien Lamb began playing music in the early 1960s in Garnerville, New York. From 1965-68 when he received his draft notice, Damien was a regular performer at Greenwich Village and New Jersey Shore coffee houses and clubs.*****
After a personal tragedy in 1973, Damien quit music for nearly 25 years. Now he is back with a blend of folk and folk country music sure to inspire his audiences. His new songs reflect life’s ever-changing challenges with love, spirituality and society.*****In the summer of 2001, Damien started the “Damien Lamb & Friends Show” at Characters Café on Perdido Key, Florida. When Characters was slated to close in 2002, Damien partnered with Larry and Gale Book and bought the club. Damien left after six months to pursue other opportunities, and under the guidance of Larry and Gale, Characters became the premier songwriters showcase for the Gulf Coast until it was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004.*****Damien teams with lead guitarist James Daniel and/or lead guitarist Zack Taylor to do shows in the Florida Panhandle. In addition, Damien continues to tour and perform as a solo act at a variety of venues and festivals around the country.*****Damien’s cd “Life Is A Lot Like A Song,” (Condado Productions 2003) has received great reception and reviews from critics, fellow songwriters and listeners alike. His newest music project "Just Passing Through" is nearly complete and is slated for release in 2008. Damien currently resides in Perdido Key, FL.
