One of the most warmly received records of the last few weeks is Howlin Rain's "Magnificent Fiend", the Guardian gave it 4 stars and called it "an impeccably pitched, retro rock joy" and it got 4 stars in Uncut too. So having been long term fans of their first self titled album we here at Lono didn't want Cornwall to miss out on some real psychedelic jams. yeah thats right.. real psychedelic jams... so they're playing at Miss Peapod's this Wednesday.
