English gind/punk outfit Extreme Noise Terror have been forced to cancel their appearance at this year's Damnation Festival due to 'health issues' of band members.
A message on their Myspace said: "Due to on-going health issues with certain band members we have had to cancel our appearance at the Damnation Festival in Leeds this October. Our apologies to anybody who may have wanted to see the band."
Festival director Gavin McInally added: "It's always gutting when a band has to pull out but the guys in Extreme Noise Terror have been very honest and upfront about it and the health of the band obviously must come first. "The cancellation now means Negura Bunget, Mistress, Akercocke and Rotting Christ will have extended set lists on the Terrorizer Stage.".

DAMNATION FESTIVAL is the product of a group of disillusioned fans fed up with watered down pop-rock taking the place of home-grown heavy metal talent on stages across the UK - we aim to address the balance.
You'll often hear us banging the drum that this is an event "for the fans, by the fans" - but it can't be put any simpler than that.
No suits behind the scenes, no money making master-plan and no agenda other than to host a festival bill worth stripping to the waist and rubbing against sweaty headbangers for!
