......We’ve been a "band" called damn about 3 yrs now, started off as Andy, Nick, Mike, and Darrell Tyler. (D.A.M.N!) We were a bit acoustic without a drummer, but that all changed in 2005 when we found ourselves an awesome lead guitarist Daryl Sharman, and a superb drummer named Ben Cook, Mike happily gave up the guitar to play keyboard and backing vocals, but left the band to join another band playing guitar. Now were a hard rocking, hard working band of average teenagers working our way up the musical ladder. We’ve been supporting the Brightlingsea music fest for the last couple of years, we've supported them by playing fundraisers, and helping out onsite on the day, picking up litter, moving drunks, stopping crazed lunatics getting on the stage, that sorter thing. In 2006 we finally got the chance to play on the Brightlingsea Free Music Fest main stage! This has been all of our goals since we’ve been a band. .. Just lately we’ve encountered some personal difficulties between each other but have set aside these problems to carry on performing and concentrate on the future of the band. Now we keep our eyes open, and look to the future. .. We are currently writing our own songs, trying to slowly bring out an album. And just throw in a couple of covers at gigs! We hope to record a single sometime in 2007, which will include "nothing came between us", and "leave with you." .. .. So if you’re ever in Brightlingsea, come check us out! .. ..
