Bio
As they prepare to record their highly anticipated second E.P., DAMNEAR DIVINE continues to gain attention and turn heads wherever they go. Drawing in influences from all directions, DAMNEAR DIVINE’s developed sound can most closely be identified as pop punk and alternative rock with and a dash of metal and hardcore thrown into the mix. Refusing to settle for anything less, DAMNEAR DIVINE’s determination to live up to their name remains unaltered. Since their formation in the fall of 2008, DAMNEAR DIVINE has quickly established themselves as one of the top bands of Las Vegas and continues to gain a strong fan base nationally. Most notably, the quintuplet is known for winning the Ernie Ball/Guitar Center GAIN Battle of the Bands, allowing them to play on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour in front of over 22,000 onlookers. In 2009, the Las Vegas based rock band headlined the largest music festival in Las Vegas, The Extreme Thing, playing in front of a crowd that bolstered over 12,000 spectators. In addition to these events, DAMNEAR DIVINE has performed at several benefit shows, helping raise money for breast cancer, the Invisible Children of Sudan, Three Square, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Members of DAMNEAR DIVINE have been featured in numerous magazines including Rolling Stone magazine, Alternative Press, Smash magazine, Las Vegas Weekly, Vegas Rocks, and the Las Vegas Review Journal. Multiple websites have also acknowledged the band; Xpozlv.com describes them as “a force to be reckoned with” while the live performances of DAMNEAR DIVINE have been depicted as having “conviction and professionalism” by Highwiredaze.com. On youtube.com, DAMNEAR DIVINE’s lead vocalist has received over 6 million video views collectively for his audition on Fox’s television show “American Idol”. DAMNEAR DIVINE is led by front man Ryan Hart on lead vocals, Andres Razo on guitar and backing vocals, Chris Rosen on drums, Michael “Aussie” Sadlier on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Ryan Mulroy on guitar. DAMNEAR DIVINE is currently working on their second E.P. with revered engineer and song producer Justin Powell whom has recorded such bands as The Cab, A Thorn for Every Heart, We Are the Arsenal, and Big City Kids. With an ever growing fan base and a brand new E.P. on the horizon, DAMNEAR DIVINE aims to take over the world; and they’ll stop at nothing until they’ve achieved their goal. -
