About me: I am a UW student studying psychology. I am in the honors program in psychology and my thesis research focuses on uncertainty and decision making.
I love reading modern fiction (addicted to hardcover novels!). I write for a local Seattle blog and I also work as an editor and graphic designer.
I love music, including just about anything KEXP plays (except for on the weird shows), Jens Lekman, Peter Bjorn & John, Belle & Sebastian, LCD Soundsystem, Okkervil River, and Andrew Bird. I'm currently stuck on Mockingbird Wish Me Luck, Bishop Allen, and Hot Chip. I love going to random shows: next up, Harry & the Potters at Neumo's.
I have a weird inexplicable obsession with Swedish pop music, including Bonne Idée, Bye Bye Bicycle, Jens Lekman, Joel Alme, Loney Dear, Lykke Li, Mockingbird Wish Me Luck, Ossian Ekenger, Peter Bjorn & John, and Those Dancing Days. I'm even taking Swedish classes so I can run away and marry Jens Lekman. Talar du svenska? Jag talar något litet. Jag studerar dagligen!
I also love NPR, my favorite shows are This American Life and Marketplace. I even have a This American Life t-shirt, because I'm a nerd :) (And it's a really cute shirt!)
I love trying new restaurants. My best friend and I have had brunch at a new place every Sunday for the last year and a half. My favorite restaurant in Seattle, and my proudest foodie moment was dinner at the French Laundry in March. I'm on a mission to try every restaurant on 15th Avenue in Capitol Hill, which is where I live. I'm through a little over half of them.
I am a total junkie for tea, most afternoons I can be found at Remedy Teas in Capitol Hill (they know my name!). I have an American Eskimo dog, Matzah Ball (he is white and fluffy). I have a terrible weakness for pink tulips, Prada shoes, good teriyaki, and Dick's.
