Ska band Damn Skippy formed in March 2004 and are based in Leeds in the UK.
The band set out to play a variety of styles of music from within the ska genre and from the beginning their songs involved a mix of ska, dub, punk, alternative rock and hip-hop.
The first gig was in front of a packed crowd at the intimate venue that is the Royal Park Cellars in Leeds. The band have since played all over England supporting bands such as The Buzzcocks, Mu330, Planet Smashers, Mustard Plug, Sonic Boom Six, Dead Pets, Roddy Radiation (of The Specials), and Catch-it Kebabs.
November 2007 saw the last of Damn Skippy in its current form but the band will be back in 2008 with a whole collection of new songs, new recordings and a new line-up!
