Heya folks I'm Damon and I'm a session drummer/musical director/programmer. I was born at a very young age in Sydney but these days I live in North London. I started playing drums when I was 13 in order to cope with a lack of puberty and over the years I've been incredibly fortunate to play either live or in the studio with some truly amazing people from all areas of music. My live and studio playing credits include James Brown, Sugababes, Bon Jovi, Joss Stone, Patti LaBelle, Busted, McFly, Nerina Pallot, Matt Willis, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Luke Toms, Ross Copperman, Tunde from Lighthouse Family, Rushmore and Paddy Casey. I'm kinda obsessed with playing drums and particularly love playing in the studio. I've been very fortunate to record with some very talented producer type people called producers such as Geoff Emerick / Steve Power / Jeremy Wheatley / Hugh Padgham / Chris Sheldon and Marius DeVries. I've been recording and touring with my dear old mate from Busted Matt Willis as well as making a new album with the uber talented Ben Parker. I've spent most of 2007 on the road with The Waterboys which is a bit of a dream come true. I'm also touring with Sugababes as well as doing the 'studio thing' for various peeps in London.
First week of October this year I got my first taste of clinics touring with the amazingly funny and stupidly talented Mr Stanton Moore as his support act! Check out the link below for all Waterboys dates thru till mid November. Much luv to y'all.
Thanks for checking in on me - drop us a line some time you dazzlers!

I'm trying to organise a drum night at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms in Feb '09. Ideally it'd be you and Geoff Dugmore. Geoff's keen. I've been on to Mr Dolbear and Drum Central and I'm awaiting their comments.
