I have been an educator since 1993 teaching band and private lessons in the greater Houston area. I co-own a music school with my twin brother, Derek, a trumpet player. I started music in the 3rd grade playing the accordion until I was able to be in band in 5th grade. That is when I started playing the sax.

Performance Experience: I have had the opportunity to perform all over the U.S.A., South America and Italy from festivals (Umbria Jazz, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Rochester Int'l. Jazz Fest, etc.) to private occasions. The variety of music has also been an important aspect, ranging from rhythm and blues, latin, soul-funk, jazz, big band and swing.
I have also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Maynard Ferguson, Roy Hargrove, Gary Burton (Elvis' guitar player), J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet (Elvis' vocal show group).
