Sounds like the 60's. Damon the Gypsy's first recording released in 1969 is one of the most sought after Vinyl Records of that time. The Goldmine Price Guide to Collectible Record Albums lists Song of a Gypsy at over $3,000.00. Song of a Gypsy is all about truth, in an earthy way; simple, yet professional and personal; the Psychedellic Era presented by musical veterans of an era.
Nothing really sounds like it, though many have endeavored to try.
After 30 Years of living life, Damon has resurfaced to further enlighten. Gypsy Eyes was recorded in 1999 and amazingly, maintained that same raw emotionalism while adding to the legacy of Folk Rock, Pschedellic Music with real life experience and wisdom.
Damon has been in the studio working on an upcoming CD for over a year now. Damon is back, the sound is simple and real, and the message is of love and life, and the path, one we all must travel.
The lot of the gypsy symbolizes each one of us as we wander down the paths of our lives.
Fortunes told are the people we meet, the warmth of our friends, our campfires. All too often we ignore or turn away from others because they are a little different than we are. We fail to look deep into their hearts where we may find a kindred soul; a seeker of love, a seeker of freedom, a seeker of truth. It's our choice whether we turn away or take a chance and reach out to others.
It was my reaching out through music to let others know that they're not alone, and there are many more of us out there with "gypsy souls" and the same sensitivity in regards to love and it's depth.
The original album, "Song of a Gypsy", represented the beginning of my search for love and the meaning of life. The new album, "Gypsy Eyes", speaks of growth and a greater understanding of what I have learned over these past several years. The songs are about love; good times, and bad.
There may even be some answers for those of you who are endowed with "gypsy souls", seekers of love and truth. The music has those same hypnotic, haunting melodies which, when listened to from beginning to end, leaves you in a place of a new understanding of love and life itself.

Summer time here kitties and it’s time to take a TRIP on the 5th TRIPolis Rock Festival, on the 5th (Sat) and 6th (Sun) of July ’08, in ancient Pan’s homeland, Tripolis, Peloponnesus, Greece! This year, our fest becomes “International”, now that, bands are coming from Germany and Italy, visiting for the very first time our country, Greece! The schedule of the 2-days festival goes like this: Headliners of the first day (Sat 5 July) will be the band of Vibravoid coming straight from Düsseldorf (Germany). 3 other Greek bands are gonna play the same day, Drug Free Youth (Athens), The Snails (Athens) and Anthi Antekdikisis (Tripolis). Atomic Workers (with members from Italy, Netherlands and England) are headlining the 2nd day of the fest (Sun 6 July), supported by 3 other Greek bands, Warehouse (Patra), Flames Of Love (Tripolis) and Sleepwalkers (Tripolis). Heavy doses of Psychedelic Space Rock along with sixties garage beats alternating with more indie even classic shades of pure rock .
