DAMPFBAHN! Is a new face on the Danish electro-pop scene.
For almost a year the two friends Peter and Simon has been playing together, creating a buzz in the Danish underground as one of the promising young bands from Copenhagen.
The sound has developed from extravagant club-oriented pop towards a simpler recipe with equal parts of references to the eighties, punk attitude and hit potential.
DAMPFBAHN! has already been contacted several times from the Danish and international industry, but are right now working on a personal concept of releasing their music. Right now a lot of recording are being done in the studio, and different releases are taking shape.
In the fall 2007 DAMPFBAHN! will release new tracks and a giant remix-compilation. Remixes and cover versions has been recorded by a lot of our closest friends. A teaser can be heard at Vitor’s page: HERE
