Bio:
I am damsel in the dollhouse...also known as dove...aka nina. I am a musical enthusiast, a self indulgent photographer, an obsessive choreographer, and an overly manic costume designer with a wide-eyed appreciation for all things frightening, funny, and deliciously unique.
about my music...
For the album "Fairytales", I used Logic Pro on a MacBook Pro. For mysecond album "Dream Eternal", I also incorporated Stylus and Omnisphere into Logic.
In addition to my current electronic musical endeavors, I have also composed all of the music for "The Visceral Show", a twisted cabaret and burlesque show. It premiered in May 2010 at the Emerson Theater, and was performed again in May 2011 at the Equinox Theatre. Featuring an original score of deliciously deranged songs and sassy cast members, the show boasts plenty of laughs, gorgeous costumes, and geniune ridiculousness! about my choreography...
I have been dancing since age eleven, spending my early years studying jazz and ballet, then focusing on modern dance during college and beyond. My modern dance repertoire consists of thirty choreographed pieces which have been performed throughout New Jersey, New York, and Vermont. In 1998, I earned my BA in Choreography and Video from Bennington College, in Bennington, VT.

about my costumes...
I have been designing and making costumes since my late teens. My most recent collections have been featured in burlesque performances and on the cast of The Visceral Show. I also style and/or design all of the costumes in my photographs.
about my photography...
I love to experiment with different concepts, costumes, and lighting sources and then play-play-play in Photoshop. I am also a fixture around town at many of Bozeman's dance and theatre performances. You can view all of my photos by visiting Damsel in the Dollhouse Portfolio. Some of my dance photography has also been featured at Main Street Dance Theatre's website at Main Street Dance Theatre.

From 2003 to 2007, I took a break from the modern dance world to focus on musical theater for which I created ten live evening-length themed shows for the ..Lipstick Lovelies Cabaret.. and expanded my repertoire of an estimated one hundred choreographed musical numbers. I was also director, producer, writer, photographer, and costume designer for the show.
