Dan Amor grew up in the village of Penmachno, in Dyffryn Conwy, where he now lives. It would seem music runs in the family; his grand-mother won an Eisteddfod chair for her singing during the thirties. He has has enjoyed success as a solo artist, his material enjoying airplay Wales, the UK as well as in Japan, Europe and America. John Peel played two of his songs, national publication Record collector gave his last EP a positive review. He supported Billy Bragg this year at Y Galeri, Caernarfon.
Hi Dan, just wanted to say, managed to get last minute tickets for last night with Billy Bragg, great show, you sounded fantastic, harmonies with BJ, Eirwyn's bass really added something too. The whole crowd were really with you, and why wouldn't they be! Can't be there tonight I'm afraid, as we're rehearsing, but have a good one, and see you soon.
