Classically trained on the piano and violin since the age of 4, Dana has since branched out to explore other genres of music (jazz, bluegrass, folk, blues, rock, cabaret, etc...). She's studied at New England Conservatory, Berklee, and Tufts, and currently plays both fiddle & keys with many talented local bands and singer/songwriters. She is also a songwriter, plays solo shows around town, and is in the process of recording her first cd.
She previously played keys in Ziaf, an Edith Piaf Tribute Band, and toured throughout the U.S. and Europe with them, and also with Ad Frank and the Fast Easy Women.
Dana has recorded for many solo artists and projects as well, some of which include: Eddie Floyd, Bill McQuaid, Ad Frank, Danielle Miraglia, Ryan Fitzsimmons, Brendan Hogan,
KL Brown and Millenium Funk, SeepeopleS, thebettergimp, and others around the Boston area.
She sometimes plays in a classical, Celtic, jazz, etc. quartet, trio, or duo for weddings, parties, etc. For more samples in different styles, just ask.
