Dance Council on MySpace
Dance Council has two missions for being on MySpace. The first is to provide the local community information about dance performances, master classes, auditions and jobs. This information can be found through our blog, "CenterStage," bulletins and updates to our home page. The second mission is to provide a ceneral online location for dancers searching for information on professional dance companies. We try to find as many dance companies on MySpace as we can so that dancers can easily research the companies for future employment.
About Dance Council
Dance Council, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1973 as Dallas Dance Council, is a membership service organzation of professional and pre-professional dance companines, independent artists, teachers, performers, movement specialists, students, dance enthusiasts and businesses.
Serving North Texas, the Council provides artistic, educational and cultural opportunites to people of all ages,races and abilities through dance festivals, scholarships, master classes and additional activities, collaborations and partnerships.
