Creative Movement:
Creative movement and dance is an enjoyable way for children to develop their large and small gross motor skills, to channel their energy and stimulate their imagination and creativity. This is where they learn the difference between creeping, crawling, bouncing, jumping, leaping, galloping, etc. As their movement and language vocabulary increases, so will their dance vocabulary, as well as their ability to express themselves through movement.

Intro to Dance I:
This class is the beginning preparation for dance itself. While teaching the dancers the Ballet Base Technique, they are also encouraged to explore several different dance styles: Jazz, Ballet, Modern and Freestyle just to name a few. This gives the student an understanding of the different styles and increases their dance abilities.

Intro to Dance II:
This class challenges students to achieve new levels of discovery and understanding of dance and its value. Students will develop their dance technique, flexibility and deepen their spatial and kinesthetic awareness. Each student will gain understanding and develop an appreciation of various dance styles. Each student graduates this class a dancer.
