About me:

On repeat:
Mary J. Blige, Reflections (A Retrospective). Great cd for dance practice. Hats off to MJ for this one.
Lately revisited: Jann Arden.
What's in the car player: Lately, Italian language-learning cd from class I'm talking. (Alternately, and in there for months!) Xavier Rudd. Also in recent times while on the road, revisited Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Regarding "About me":

Key things: music, dance, writing, editing, creating meaningful copy, promoting events of substance, passion for organizing, passion for production, knowing self, knowing other, listening, speaking from the heart, being brave- lion-hearted, taking a risk. The prior three are traits I'm not saying I possess, but rather that they are traits I appreciate - I see so many participating in life who appear to be braver than I am. My thanks to those are examples of living what they know is right for themselves.

More passions: gardens and landscaping, caring for life, immersion.

Current main clients (or, "How I consistently spend a chunk of time"):
North State Parent (www.northstateparent.com)
Client focus: families, children, youth, health, community, life.
Siskiyou Arts Bus Project (www.siskiyouartsbus.org)
Client focus: art, supporting youth, after school programs, at-risk youth, participation in community, volunteerism, balance for all - art is therapy.
Rock the Earth(www.rocktheearth.org).
Client focus: music, environment, environmental legal issues, collaboration, community, standing strong, representing.

Events Production is, in part, Life. Relationships are Journeys, more rarely also Home.

Soul Motion certified facilitator. Dance/Movement Facilitator/Instructor/Coach.

Writing samples:
In Sept 09: Dr. Noise & North State Symphony feature/Dr. Noise interview Currently online at www.northstateparent.com.
In Feb 08: Angelique Kidjo interview/cover feature She won a Grammy during the interview process! Interview & mag cover with Angelique posted in this MySp blog.

Who I'd like to meet:

◊  I'd like to meet each experience with wisdom...

◊  I'd like to meet Isadora Dunkan.

◊  I'd like to meet fear with understanding.

    Hello Lisa!
Thank you so much for joining us here at Save The Kimberley. We value your interest and friendship. If you would like to learn more about what we are fighting for please visit our page at www.myspace.com/savethekimberley or our official website at www.savethekimberley.com

We encourage you and your friends to become involved in this most momentous struggle to retain one of Australia's and the World's last pristine wilderness regions in it's natural state. Untouched by the heavy hand of man and industry.

This is what we are fighting for.

Have a wonderful day, we welcome you!
