A few years ago we lost one of the most talented, inspiring, and beautiful girls we will ever meet. She was an amazing dancer, sister, daughter, and friend to all in her life. It's extremely hard without her - correcting us, making us smile, pushing us, comforting us - but she's with the Lord in Heaven, dancing eternally and we can't wait to see that crazygood dance team she's coaching! We miss her, but we hold the lessons she taught us close to our hearts, and every minute.. we're dancing for her. One of the most important things she taught us was that you can't put off your faith, live each day as if it were your last and embrace life with everything you have inside of you - and for the people that you love. So whether you can see it or not, she is still out there dancing with us on that floor. We love you and miss you baby girl!

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES!!!! Just sending out a reminder of up coming performances and activities for jv...
October 13 we will be performing at half time of the home MELHS varsity football game. The game starts at 1:00, all dancers MUST be there at that time as well. I am not quite for sure, but am guessing that half time will take place around 2:00 give or take a few. You are aloud to leave after they perform. (please check in with me before you do so, so I am not looking for you later!) We will be performing the pom routine, which requires the you to be responsible for bringing the following items: *Black jazz shoes *Black HIGH socks *Black leotard *hair must be in medium pony tail (please keep bangs out of face as much as possible!)
October 20, Sweeties Fine Chocolates and Confections, Chick Peas, and Mrs. Bailey's Poppy Patch is putting together a "Fall Festival", and Sweeties has asked the us to be apart of it. The fesival will take place in the parking lot of these three stores (the same parking lot where we had our first car wash). We will be selling apple cider (both hot and cold) and all proceeds will be coming straight to us. The event is from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. However, you will only have to work for an hour. This coming Sunday I will have a sign up sheet for you to sign up for a specific time slot. You only HAVE to work for an hour, but are more than welcome to be there for more than that. Kristen and I will be providing everything, so all you will be responsible for is getting yourself there for the time you signed up for.
Finally: My step mom died of Cystic Fibrosis when I was in eighth grade, and ever since then I have been very involved with all fundraisers and events that help support the cause. The bank that Sweeties works with (Clover Leaf Bank) is currently doing a fundraiser to help the CF Foundation. I would like the JV DK's to be apart of the cause and ask that you please bring in AT LEAST $1.0

Practice this sunday - 4-7pm and every sunday until we start full season in october and then it will change to only an hour and a half. Sorry about the confusion. LOve you have a great last few days of summer.
