Marie-Christine VERNAY Reconnue pour sa qualité par toute la profession, Coline, association de formation d’artistes chorégraphiques, risque de fermer ses portes en juin. Le Syndicat d’agglomération nouvelle (le SAN) Ouest-Provence n’a pas versé la subvention qu’il attribuait habituellement à la petite structure. Cette subvention de 97 000 euros représentait 50 % du budget prévisionnel pour 2009. Les responsables de Coline ainsi que les intervenants sont stupéfaits : «Le dossier, dit Célia Jouteau, chargée du développement et de l’administration, n’a pas été soumis au vote le 18 décembre. Sans ce soutien, l’actuelle promotion d’octobre 2008 à juin 2010 est mise en danger et l’existence même de la structure est condamnée.» Hébergée comme quatre autres entités par la Maison de la danse intercommunale d’Istres (Bouches-du-Rhône), Coline a formé depuis 1996 de nombreux interprètes en danse contemporaine ; à ce jour, la plupart d’entre eux (80) mènent leur carrière dans différentes compagnies françaises, belges et même vietnamienne. La particularité de cette école - qui recrute sur audition de 12 à 15 stagiaires de toute nationalité ayant déjà une solide formation technique et artistique - est d’accompagner les cours et ateliers techniques par une expérience de la scène et par un travail d’action de sensibilisation.
