Dance,You’reOnFire is a progressive-indie band hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Formed in July ’07, their music has been described as unique and progressive and is made for the love of music as a form of art.
Within the first 3 months of the band’s gigging career, they released a critically acclaimed debut EP and have since shared the stage with some of South Africa’s top alternative acts.
Newly reformed as a four piece, the band will be releasing their follow up full length album in early 2010 which will be supported by countrywide tours, videos and national airplay.
Holy. Crap. I'm used to local bands sounding bland and unoriginal, but you guys have got something here.... The drums sound huge, the guitar's abrasive and innovative, the bass thumping and the vocals, well, just ridiculously good. I'm a very picky man when it comes to music, but you guys are a band I'd put on my playlist. Really.
And thanks for the compliment! Please tell me you're coming down to the Western Cape sometime?

<br />Me and a couple friends are attempting to start an organization that ACTUALLY does something to help support/prevent bullying and making fun of those who are gay/lesbian.
<br />30% of suicides are caused by this.
<br />We have many plans to get this farther, like hosting an event and getting a sponsor.
<br />All the information is in our group on facebook, and were looking for as much support and getting the word out as possible.
