I could have just copied this from my bio but I prefered this to be a bit more personal. So here it goes: I was born and raised in California, part of a very musical family. My parents and brothers had a major influence for my love of music. I was exposed to all types as a kid, and it seems I have been destined for a life in music. I spend much of my life in the studio, surrounded by music. I started playing drums when I was eight, piano when I was 10. It's like I was programmed to do it. I eventually moved to St. Thomas, where I first got into DJing and club music. I met others there that were into the same thing, and eventually I came back to the states and did a lot of djing. I also began honing my studio skills, generally soaking up musical knowledge everywhere I went. I started making records and basically haven't stopped since. I have had the oppurtunity to work with some of the best rock and pop artists ever. I've engineered and programmed beats for Butch Vig, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Tricky, Macy Gray, Avril Lavigne, Pink, the Rolling Stones, and even Burt Bacharach. I feel lucky that I get to work with enormously talented songwriters, musicians, artists, and producers on some of the best music in the world. My experiences on these sessions have taught me a lot about putting records together, working with vocalists, and about the business itself.
These days I still work closely with enormously successful producers like Jack Joseph Puig, John Shanks, Butch Walker, Rob Cavallo, and others on a variety of projects, often co-producing, remixing, arranging, and programming beats. Sometimes it can be challenging simultaneously working on major label pop and rock projects AND feeding my love for creating my own music, and although I'm an accomplished DJ, my performing career has been interrupted by my pursuit of music goals I wanted to acheive for personal reasons. Most of my inspiration comes from the club scene and other DJ/producers/artists, and on the side I have been fortunate enough to work with the likes of Felix da Housecat and Armand van Helden on various remixes and collaborations. I'm constantly in the studio making new music, and my underground releases can be heard on radio shows and in DJ sets worldwide. DJing is and will always be one of my strongest passions. I also have so many tracks I've been anxious to finish, but haven't had the time to until now. Today I'm happy to be working closely with XMIX productions (Armand, Felix, Junior, Sneak, Todd, Farina), developing new music and continuing to work on rock and pop projects, but on my own terms. The music I'm making now I see being played by a DJ, in a club, for people who want to dance. Stay tuned.
