We offer quality instructions in ballet, pas de deux, pointe, contemoporary, jazz, tap and creative movement for children through adults. (Ballroom and liturgical dance are also offered from time to time.) Please refer to the blog titled "Institute of Dancing Arts ~Class Schedule~" for the most up-to-date information.
Our studio's performing companies (ballet), young ballet students and tap students regularly perform in nursing homes and churches as a part of our community outreach program. The students gain valuable performing experience as well as the joy of sharing dance with the members of the community. IDA's Le Petites Performing Company in a nursing home performance in 2006. Qualified students also participate in regional and national ballet competitions, master classes with professional dancers and renowned teachers, and various public performances. We also perform in collaboration with Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra and High Desert Opera.
