MySpace a place for friends

Another favorite pastime of mine is dancing. Ballroom, jazz, tap, ballet. You name it, I've probably at the very least tried it. I just love finding the heart of a piece of music and showing the world what it looks like (to me) through dance.

Cooking and entertaining are two things that will never get old for me. I love trying out new recipes or sometimes just "freestylin'" in the kitchen. I also throw a pretty good party when I have the time. I love making people happy, and who doesn't like a good party?

However, I do love a good action flick. Jackie Chan was my running favorite for ages. I could watch Rush Hour and Shanghai Noon over and over again if I had to.

I think Robin Williams is one of the greatest comedic geniuses of all time. I have never found him lacking in the realm of funny. I've never seen any of his more serious (and demented) films, but they are on my to-do list! Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder also never fail to make me laugh. I was heartbroken when I heard about Pryor's death on the news. I was completely bummed for at least a week.

Other shows I watch: Heroes, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Gallactica, Doctor Who, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Danny Phantom, Fairly Oddparents, All Grown Up, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Shark, American Eats, Lost Worlds, Dead Like Me, and Good Eats.

Looking at that list, you'd think that I do NOTHING but watch TV, but that's not true. That's what TiVo and DVD rentals are for. ;) I can catch up on any show I want by taking one day a month just to watch TV, and then I get back to reality. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Having the freedom to watch my fave shows whenever I darn well please rather than being tethered to the TVGuide schedule is AWESOME.
