Takes a block of spicy Metalcore with a dash of Rock, stir in 3 cups of southern spice, add a cut of hardcore (non traditional) breakdowns, dice up a fair portion of soothing pop vocals and sprinkle a little dance spice on top. Let it simmer on the stove for 17.1 minutes and serve it while it’s still hot, this is the recipe that has come to be Dancing With Paris....
The new EP titled “ There’s Something In The Water” has created a blend of different genres of music. From poppy choruses that will make you want to dance, to hard hitting bridges and verses, and breakdowns that will make your face melt and question “what just happened”?
Dancing With Paris have created a monster for everyone to enjoy. From now forth, the future is nothing but one big dance party full of fun times and surprises.
It offers a variety of nice pop/rock melodies followed by some heavy hardcore riffs. The drums are the spines of the songs; keeping its simplicity and at times becoming transition fills which can be best heard for example, in the song "Bled Dry."

There are plenty of breakdowns in every song for those who love to mosh, and they keep the pace of the EP fairly fast. It never really slows down until “(Boardwalk),”

The most outstanding track on the EP seems to be from the album title itself, "There's Something In The Water" I've spent most of the time listening to this track on repeat. The track not only makes you want to move, but at times dance. No more standing around with your arms crossed.

There's Something In the Water is a powerful and energetic EP, so needless to say we were hooked immediately when we heard DANCING WITH PARIS. Toronto, Canada has a lot to be proud of in this band. With a sound that can be furious and aggr...essive, and then melodic and calming the next, DANCING WITH PARIS are impressing us with their DIY ethic and music greatly."
