A talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, this prolific songwriter spent most of his early adult years traveling the world while jumping out of helicopters and playing with explosives. Serving as a U.S. Navy diver specializing in Explosive Ordnance Disposal for 11 years, this Irish-American was exposed to things very few are fortunate enough to, from training dolphins in Key West, to deep sea diving off the coast of Africa, to working with front-line security for the President and select VIPs. From an early age, he had exposure to a wide variety of music ranging from traditional Irish to Classical, to Punk and Rock. While traveling on business to in Bogotá, Columbia Dan had the opportunity to record some demos of his original music during his free time. The positive reception of these first recordings inspired Dan to make music his primary focus. Now, at home in Seattle, Washington, Dan is near completion on his first album, expected to be released in early December 2008. Most of the tracks from this upcoming release have threads of gratitude and a genuine love of life and people woven through them. Dan was asked to perform for His Holiness the Dalai Lama in April 2008 during the Seeds of Compassion Conference in Seattle. Whether performing for a few dozen people, a few hundred or a few thousand, Dan brings an energy and enthusiasm for life that is unforgettable. Dan performs in a variety of venues in Seattle and the Los Angeles are and is currently working on a screenplay and soundtrack for an upcoming film.

Dan, it was lovely to meet you at the High Dive -- you played a wonderful set and I'm glad I had a chance to see you live. I'll have to come by the Wilde Rover to see you again (and bring friends)!
