While I sing and write mainly country and traditional-type music, I can appreciate just about all types of music as a singer/songwriter/musician. Mostly what you will find on my iPod these days is classic and alt-country, with some contemporary country in there as well. But you'll also find some hard rock, bluegrass, folk, classic rock, early-mid 90s alternative rock, metal, R&B, soul, blues, and rap/hip-hop. Music should have no boundaries. As far as my main influences and likes, here's a shortlist: The Highwaymen (Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson), Keith Whitley, Toby Keith, George Jones, Gary Allan, Jamey Johnson, Tom T. Hall, Hank Sr., Jr. III, The Stanley Brothers, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Mark Chesnutt, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Travis Tritt, John Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Don Williams, Mel McDaniel, Gary Stewart, Dwight Yoakam, Randy Travis, Earl Thomas Conley, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Shooter Jennings, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry, Elvis, Charlie Daniels Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Bros. Band, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Disturbed, Staind, Seether, Papa Roach, Van Morrison, Bob Seger, KISS, 3 Doors Down, Theory of A Deadman, Papa Roach, John Cougar Mellencamp, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top, CCR, the list could go over forever....
Sounds Like
Myself, hopefully, but also not too bad at imitating, haha
I'm an easy-going 29 year old guy that was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and raised in Buchanan County, Virginia (pronounced BUCK-anan not BYOO). I graduated from UVA-Wise with a B.A. in Communications and have done some local media and NASCAR work. Additionally, I'm a solo singer/songwriter who has sit in with bands in honky-tonks and bars all throughout the Appalachians. I sang/played/wrote all throughout high school but I didn't get on the stage until about 8 years ago when I started singing at Marlow's in Pike County, Ky. My specialty is country and traditional music songwriting. However, I like just about types of music and would like to get involved in the music industry in some sort of capacity. We all know it's a longshot to be successful in the music business, but if you have a dream, you have to chase it at least once to see if you can catch it. It's not all about the money and fame, because that can cause both a lot of pleasure and pain. It's all about the music, plain and simple.

Sweet words are easy to say, Sweet things are easy 2 buy, But sweet people are difficult to find Life ends when U stop dreaming, Hope ends when U stop believing, Love ends when U stop caring, Friendship ends when U stop sharing. So share this with whom ever U consider a friend. To love without condition, To talk without intention, To give without reason, And to care without expectation is the heart of a true friend... Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile!,alwaysREDA

A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at the grocery store, but couldn't find one big enough for her family. She asked the stock boy, 'Do these turkeys get any bigger?'
I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
