Born in Spokane Washington, Moved to Vail Colorado right after highschool. Sliding down mountains on snow with friends is my favorite thing to do! and climbing trees, and swinging on trapeze! I love to create and I strive to make work and fun be the same thing. It's not that hard if you ask yourself enough of the right questions! I have always loved photography and I usually shoot everything I can all the time.

About me: ---I started making boards full-time in August 2008 and packed up and drove everything from Nashville TN to Venice Beach CA in Sept. I have shown boards at festivals and venues around the LA area and the response is amazing. These boards and their raw simplicity and beauty blows peoples minds! ---The original motivation for these boards was simply to create some unique and really fun boards to ride that were different from any other boards available. From there the emphasis soon merged with the idea that this was a wonderful way to show off the true raw beauty and form of wood. As a tree surgeon I am constantly cutting into wood and seeing how beautiful it can be when viewed in unusual ways or from different angles. Much of the wood I find the most amazing is deemed defective or unusable by sawmills, therefore never usually seen by most people. All of the wood for these boards came from trees in and around Nashville, mostly from residential home sites. (all of the wood used for these boards would have been thrown away if I had not saved it.) I then dry and process the wood myself, using no more than powered hand tools, into these boards here today; Boards that are as enjoyable to view as they are to ride.

Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!
