I play drumset, keyboards and other assorted instruments. I am currently the touring keyboardist for Deals Gone Bad, a rocksteady band from Chicago, and percussionist/keyboardist for SubPop artist Daniel Martin Moore. I also work as a dance accompanist for the Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago.
I've toured, performed, and/or recorded with: STOMP, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Don Rickles, Bill Cunliffe, Brad Goode, Steve Hoskins, Tessa Souter, Patrick Hession of the Maynard Ferguson Band, the Jazz Circle, Dick Sisto, Boogie Morton, Steve Hoskins, Tessa Souter, Brad Goode, Phil DeGreg, Rusty Burge, Mike Scharfe, Bob Bodley and Art Gore. I've also played in masterclasses with Dave Samuels, Roy Haynes’ Fountain of Youth Band including, Marcus Strickland, Martin Bejerano, and John Carver Sullivan; Bud Shank, Slide Hampton, Bill Watrous, David Liebman. I freelance as a percussionist, specializing in Afro Cuban, Brazilian, and West African music and instruments. I have employed these of styles and instruments as a dance accompanist with Sean Curran, Maureen Fleming, Bill T. Jones-Arnie Zane Company, Judith Mikita, Shellie Cash, and Constance Dinapoli of the Paul Taylor Company, the School for Creative and Performing Arts, Cynthia Riesterer and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Interlochen Arts Center, The Aspen Santa-Ballet, the Interlochen Faculty Dance Ensemble, and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and the Playhouse in the Park
I have served as Music Director, Pianist and Choir Director for Saint Agnes Church; Music Director of the Over the Rhine Steel Drum Band, and the Portland Percussion Project.
