Born and raised in Eden, NC ~ at the young age of eight, Dane finds the love for playing the piano by ear. After church services, while his mom was preparing Sundays meal - he would have his mom to hum out the song sung that day - and pick it out. Although, he is the grandson of a preacher man - Dane found his love for country music back in the day, when Mickey Gilley was on the charts. He recalls the day, when the family took a trip to the North Carolina State Fair - and as a young child - nearly pitched a fit for a straw cowboy hat, with brown edges and the feather band. Only thing it was lacking, was the oval stone mounted on the grill.
At the age of 14, he acquired his first set of Ludwigs. During that time, he had advanced his ear to the music of VanHalen, Boston, Bob Segar, Jackson Browne and many others. As the great Alabama, was instilled in his soul ~ he was influenced by an older brother and cousins along the way.
There were many musicians in the family, but his dad was not one of them. His mom loved to sing in church, but his major influence came from his Uncle Stan. Dane recalls sitting at the keys, eager to learn a new chord.
After his marriage to his wife, Cheryl.....Dane followed his dads footsteps of the hard trade of construction - which most of the work out of town, away from the ones he loved. During that time was when he found ~ he could express himself ~ lyrically......The next step......Guitar !!
Every since this discovery........He has found how to put his life to music and lived enough .....to have a story to tell........

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

NEW MUSIC, HERE & NOW!!!
Just wanted to let you know I've been hard at work in the studio for my long overdue sophomore album, and have just posted a new track for you to preview. The song is called "SLOW ME DOWN" and it's a demo that I did at home, co-written by the very talented Johnny Reid! I am so excited about the new album that I just couldn't wait to share SOMETHING with everybody, so I hope you enjoy this little "sneak peak"!!
I look forward to hearing from you about the track, and encourage you to check out the new pictures I've put up.
Hope you are having a great week!
