Nice to meet you. www.publicbroadcasting.ca runs on people power. It exists to To Strengthen, Preserve and promote the Emerging and Independent Canadian Voice but to do that I need volunteers who care about Canadian arts and culture.

There are sections on:
Canadian Blogs, the CBC, Canadian Comedy, Canadian Politics, Visit the Canadian Literature Channel, Canadian Music, Canadian Podcasts, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comics and Gaming, Canadian Sports,, Film and Theatre, TV and Radio, Visual Arts (Art and Photography) , and Vlogs (video blogs). All of these sections either already have, or can have (once enough people are interested, group blogs so I'm definitely looking for people who care about one or more of these areas and want to write.

There are also constantly updating feeds to track the latest news on issues people care about Afghanistan, Global Warming, Iraq, Darfur, Canadian Politics, Cancer,
HIV/AIDS, Palestine and Israel, and Poverty.

Oh, and don't miss the Free Podsafe Music Download section.

There are spotlight areas for Canadian artists and all of that is just the beginning. If, after looking at the site you feel that something is missing, or there is something else you would like to contribute, just let me know.

Cheers,
Justin

Nice to meet you. Please consider signing this petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/CBC_Funding/ to double the funding for the CBC.

I also have another website dedicated to the Canadian voice (film, music, art, radio, television, blogs, vlogs, podcasts, politics and more) at www.publicbroadcasting.ca please check it out and add it's myspace.

Cheers,
Justin
