PRESS
"A cross of Mick Jagger and David Bowie might make one scary looking dude, but his voice would sure intrigue. This SF act does a dead-on imitation of that unholy mash-up, then supports "him" with juicy sleaze-rock guitars, a la another wildly skilled wildman: Keith Richards." - Editor's review from download.com
"I'd rate Dangermaker as one of my top 5 favorite indie bands in the Bay Area. The magic behind Dangermaker's music is the accessibility in the sound, the listener 'gets' the melody with the first listen... much better than anything the majority of unsigned bands can produce on their own. If these guys don't make it big, or if at least the local radios don't start playing them, then this is one fat, unfair, life we all live in." - Album Review from theowlmag.com
"San Francisco’s Dangermaker play slick, haunting guitar rock that goes perfectly with a shot of whiskey and an absence of light. Don’t bother listening to this band first thing in the morning as you enjoy a bran muffin with your skim latte. This is not a breakfast band. Instead, you should throw on their EP at the tail end of a three-day bender when you’ve jacked up the stereo and you’re just looking to make one last pass at the girl sitting by herself at the end of the bar. I can’t say for certain, but I’m pretty sure Dangermaker are creatures of the night - which works for me because I am definitely not a morning person."- Blog from Tough Customer Records
"I just wanted to tell you guys how amazing the songs are!! I'm a DJ in a strip club and I am definitely playing 'Need' and 'Looks Good' tonight at work. I've already spread the word to the DJ at the Hustler in SF as well. He listened and liked as well, so good luck to you guys..." - Strip Club DJ Dave
BIO
Dangermaker has illicitly created a sound that is classic & familiar in Rock & Pop music, yet also infused with something unique & fierce. Singer/guitarist Adam Burnett is armed with a truckload of explosive riffs & a lethal voice. He crossed paths with Carlos Rodrigues & his percussive power to beat to death all listeners. The band recently released their new debut album recorded at Popsmear Records with Scott Llamas who's worked with some great SF Bay Area bands like Panda (Dizzy Baloon), The Action Design (M from Tsunami Bomb), Tragedy Andy, Scene of Action, & others. Musically, Dangermaker stradles indie modern dance rock & classic alternative, somewhere between 70's Bowie & Stones, and Ted Leo, The Stills, Hard-Fi, and Spoon. As Dangermaker they have recently been voted first place in OurStage.com’s Noise Pop Contest, appeared in Under The Radar Magazine, scored an editor’s pick & review on Download.com/CNET, & a great album review in The Owl Mag.

Delirious hat mich jetzt in den ersten paar Sekunden an die Pixies erinnert, dann wurde es zwar anders, aber schön geschmeidig. Kommentar wäre nicht schlecht. Greetz Danger Boys
