I have a sense of humor. If you take yourself too seriously, go kick rocks. Or if you generally suck at life, you can leave, too. I'm kind of busy.
I don't consider myself a model. Seriously. I work at a skate company paying other people's bills and keeping the motor running, and most days I live in hoodies and jeans. I'm a nerd, a hopeless romantic and a relentless cynic. I may be obsessed with shoes, clothes, makeup, photography etc, but this "Dangerrr" thing began quite on accident when I was 18 or 19. It was pure chance and became an escapism method comprised of lots of whiskey and exquisite fun. So I probably don't have a lot of advice to offer, such as how to start or what to do.
That being said, my first "real" shoot was with Tila Tequila... she was a blast to work with and I respect her ambition and drive. My favorite photographer to work with is Marco Patino, he is so much fun and a master of his craft! I adore mid-century furniture and design, old cars, and crafting intricate, decorative items that are usually just slightly inappropriate. I'm into more shit than you really want to hear about. I grew up surrounded by art and artists, music and musicians, words and writers. I've committed myself to making art more often and being lazy less often.
I completed my BA in Rhetoric at UC Berkeley, focusing on Legal Theory, Political Theory, Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, Linguistics, and suchlike truck. I will be pursuing my MBA in 2009. I am easily amused, yet most people bore me to death and I'm not easily impressed.
I appreciate all the wonderful messages and support from my friends here on MySpace. It means a lot to me and encourages me to keep doing what I do. It takes me a while get through to all your awesome messages, but I do my best to write you back!
